The requirement to work for the Lord
Yesterday I joined the One-week Trainees for their church history tour of Cambridge. It was a lovely afternoon, and enjoyable to see in person the sites that are significant to the translation of the Bible and the beginning of the recovery of the truth. Maybe I’ll write more on it another time. For now, here is a modern-day site of significance:
After the tour, we watched a video about Margaret E. Barber, a missionary who went to China simply as a grain of wheat to fall into the ground and die and produce much fruit, just like her precious Lord Jesus (John 12:24). Even though M. E. Barber didn’t do anything great outwardly, her life was full of meaning and significance. I appreciate this quote of hers that was mentioned in the video:
The requirement to work for the Lord is not to work.
Amen, may this also become our experience and testimony, to simply learn to be real priests – those coming into the Lord’s presence to be infused with Him, filled with Him, and overflowing Him.

I Look forward to when you post the significant sites in the Recovery in Cambridge. I could do with some good notes that have the flow of life.

may we live each day expecting the Lord’s return just round the corner. thankfully, we have an eternal High Priest interceding for us to be saved to the uttermost. thank You, Lord for our regenerated human spirit to receive Your unceasing transmission. keep flowing in, dear Lord. we are open to receive Your divine riches.
